We are extremely excited and honored today to announce that our leading connected safety wearable, the BioTrac Band, was revealed in TIME as one of the top 100 inventions of 2021!
Earlier today, TIME revealed its annual list of the top 100 inventions that are making the world smarter, safer and more connected.
SlateSafety’s BioTrac Band has been listed in the ‘Productivity’ category on account of its easy-to-use, ruggedness and reliability. The system sends real-time alerts to prevent injuries of workers and allows for a more holistic understanding of occupational and workforce safety.
“We’re building products that our customers need; by combining multiple capabilities into a single easy-to-use product we’re enabling our customers to reduce operational headaches from multiple processes and systems; improving safety and productivity in the field,” said Zack Braun, CEO. “As the Connected Safety world becomes more integrated, it’s great to receive further validation that we’re helping shape it.”
Our co-listees are also inventors, big and small, combining originality, creativity, efficacy, ambition and impact. Examples are an innovative, eco-friendly dye for jeans, a truly novel pasta shape, groundbreaking vaccines for COVID-19 and malaria—and much more.
Thank you TIME for recognizing SlateSafety’s mission to prevent preventable injuries and deaths among workers worldwide.
