Occupational Health & Safety has announced winners in 18 categories for the second year of its Industrial Hygiene Awards. These awards honor outstanding product development achievements of health and safety manufacturers whose products or services are considered particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve industrial hygiene. Winners will receive physical awards as well as brand recognition in the May issue of Occupational Health & Safety magazine, during the May 19th OH&S Industrial Hygiene Virtual Summit and in the OH&S Industrial Hygiene eNewsletter. They are also featured on Occupational Health & Safety’s industry-leading website, ohsonline.com.

As industrial hygiene continues to be a key concern with companies, submissions to this year’s awards program were strong. An independent panel of highly qualified judges carefully reviewed and scored each entry. The judges’ combined scores dictated the winners of each category.

“Our second annual Industrial Hygiene Awards attracted even more impressive and inventive products and solutions that aid professionals in the field of industrial hygiene,” OH&S Editor Sydny Shepard said. “While we all get used to our ‘new normal,’ manufacturers and vendors in the industry are hard at work to ensure that employees are as healthy and safe at work as possible. It’s exciting to see this industry continue to grow and innovate in new ways each year.”

This award program honors the outstanding product development achievements of health and safety manufacturers whose products are considered particularly noteworthy in their ability to improve industrial hygiene.

“Engineering solutions that make an impact for those in the field is at the forefront of what we want to do,” said Tyler Sisk, CTO at SlateSafety. “We want to continue to be on the cutting edge and the recognition from Occupational Health & Safety, helps let us know we’re heading in the right direction.”
